Crawl Space Encapsulation in SouthWest

When the Crawl Space is not encapsulated, the cold, moist air from the floor spreads around the house, transferring all the bad odors that are unpleasant for locals.

We went to this client house in SouthWest and we completely isolated his Crawl Space with our CleanSpace membrane and our SmartJack support Pillars.

Crawl Space Encapsulation in Pointe St Charles

Mrs.Tramblai noticed the presence of moisture in her Crawl Space. In addition, she wanted to find a solution to prevent cold air from entering her cellar.

Following her call, our crawl space specialist advised her to install a CleanSpace membrane and a drainage mattress to encapsulate the service cellar. In addition, our specialist recommended installing the support pillars which is the best system to lift above floors and walls back to their original position

Following work in her Crawl Space, this resident of Pointe St Charles in Montreal was very satisfied with the results obtained. She can now use her Crawl space as a storage space.

SmartJack pillars for a crawl space in Montreal

The SmartJack system raises and stabilizes beams and floor joists in your crawl space. A specially designed solid backfill base addresses the problem of inadequate foundation soil by transferring the weight of the house to a competent soil layer. Steel columns are secured under the beams or joists of the crawl space. Robust threaded rods allow each SmartJack pole to be adjusted to the desired height. We are very happy to have worked on this project!

Stabilizing a foundation with our push piers system in Montreal, Qc

Problem

Mr. Boerr's building sank into the ground. Several external and internal signs were apparent including cracks on the corners of the doors and windows, in addition to  cracks on the stairs.

Solution

Pile up the building. Our team installed the push piers under the footing to stabilize it and prevent any future subsidence.

Without helical fins, Push Piers can be driven to greater depths without bending, providing support for heavier structures.

The problem

Mr. Raymond had an urgent problem and needed to stabilize one of the foundation walls. The block foundation wall had a long horizontal crack in the middle of the one-inch wide wall and the wall was dangerously curved.

The solution

To solve our client's problem, we put a wall anchoring system on the cracked wall. Once the anchors are tight, they hold the wall securely in its current position. The anchors can be tightened allowing the wall to be straightened.
