Our customer’s foundation in Lachute was curving, which is a serious problem and sign of failure in the basement foundation walls.
We have solved this problem, by installing PowerBrace galvanized steel beams and several smartJacks.
The beams form a system designed specifically to support the walls of failed foundations and to straighten the walls to their original position over time. Zinc coated, the PowerBrace system resists erosion, reduces abrasion and makes beams non-toxic
As for the SmartJack Support Pillars , those are steel support systems used to stabilized and level the girders and floor joists in a crawl space.
In Addition they are super strong (support loads of more than 60,000 lbs.), and is the only solution that addresses problem soils.
Our patented system stands out from the others and we are very happy to have had the chance to install it at our customer’s place to solve his problem once and for all!
We have repaired this house’s foundation in Wentworth, and stabilized it to resist ground movement by installing 7 support pillars Pushpiers
The PushPier pillar is a patented product and it features an outer sleeve that reinforces the pillar device directly under the support which is the most critical place.
It strengthens this area and prevents twisting, distortion and rotation that are commonly observed in other support pillar devices.
In Très-Saint-Rédempteur, a homeowner began to worry when cracks appeared in the foundation walls, moisture seeped in, and some walls began to lean inward. Little by little, the risk became real: loss of comfort, mold growth, and fear of more serious subsidence.
Faced with these problems, our team at Systèmes Sous-sol Québec stepped in with a reliable solution: our PowerBrace® system. These galvanized steel beams, measured and customized on site, were installed along the walls to stabilize them immediately. Securely attached to the floor and ceiling, they will even gradually straighten the walls over time, all without having to dig or do any invasive work.
Today, the house is protected, the basement is healthier, and the owner can finally enjoy peace of mind, knowing that their foundation is in good hands.
