Problem

Mrs. Laflamme had humidity problems in her crawl space. During her free inspection with our specialist, a humidity level of more than 64% was detected. The wooden support beams were rotting and the rim joists were sagging.

Solution

Encapsulate the crawl space with our CleanSpace drainage membrane and vapor barrier to block moisture from the earth floor. To reinforce the end joists, our experts installed our galvanized steel SmartJack pillars.

The problem: This client from Montreal noticed that there was sag of an inch and a half in his duplex. So he decided to contact us to find out what could be done.

The solution: After inspecting the customer's basement, the solution proposed by our specialist John was to install a SmartJack. This product will help stabilize the customer's floor sag.

Before: A customer from Pointe St Charle had problems with cold floors and unpleasant odors from his crawl space. Actually, when the Crawl Space is not encapsulated, the cold, moist air from the floor spreads around the house, transferring all the bad odors that are unpleasant for locals. In order to fix the problem, our specialist installed a Drainage Matting system to collect the water that escapes from the ground and accumulates in the crawl space. A CleanSpace to isolate the earth from the rest of the crawl space to reduce humidity. And to get the excess water out of the crawl space, a SuperSump was installed. It is a pump that is covered to protect the place from additional of moisture.
