This homeowner was struggling with his steps as they were tied into his foundation, yet they had started to settle and pull away from his house. He was unsure of what to do in order to fix this problem, so he called us.

We sent System Design Specialist Elliot Moles to inspect the steps and figure out what happened to the homeowner's steps. Elliot found that the steps settled due to soil erosion, however because they were tied into the foundation, this put an extra stress on the foundation that compromised the safety of the home. After talking to the homeowner about options to fix this, the homeowner decided to lift his stairs with us. Our team used Helical Piers to lift the stairs back to their original position and to secure the foundation.

Gerald H. recently moved into his home in last year. He was aware that there could be possible problems with the foundation. He started to notice that the hallway floor from the garage was starting to become uneven the door was not longer closing properly. Ready to learn about foundation repair solutions, he gave us a call.

System Design Specialist Elliot Moles went out to Gerald’s home. He was able to see that the floors were uneven, and the door was sticking and came up with the solution of installing Push Piers. Our customer is a firm believer in leaving a home in a better place than what she found it in. She takes a lot of pride in her home! We noticed that in the basement the main beam was sagging aggressively towards the middle of the home. The home is pre-1920 and needed additional support throughout the whole main beam. This homeowner had a block foundation wall that was bowing in and he was concerned that the wall was going  to collapse. After getting a few estimates, he knew that he needed our help and expertise to fix his bowing wall.

We sent System Design Specialist Mike Portel to inspect the bowing wall and determine what was causing this. Mike found that the soil on the outside of the block wall foundation, causing the wall foundation to fall inwards. He also noticed that there were cracks in the wall that appeared to have grown over time. Mike and the team installed PowerBraces so that the homeowner could move his foundation walls back to their position over time.
