These homeowners wanted to waterproof their damp, moldy basement so the MidAmerica Basement Systems experts were called. The basement was made dry and healthy with the installation of a TripleSafe sump pump, a SaniDry XP dehumidifier and a vapor barrier, CleanSpace. Now the basement is clean and dry!

This Muscatine homeowner noticed water issues in his basement. He decided to get his basement waterproofed to avoid these problems from recurring. He reached out to MidAmerica and asked that they come out to his home to give him an estimate. Our team helped him by installing a full perimeter of WaterGuard, an interior drainage system. He is no longer having wet basement issues!

Homeowners Chad and Rebecca were looking to make their dark, gloomy basement more inviting. They added lighting and finished the basement, but there still wasn’t enough natural light coming in from the basement windows. They had heard that MidAmerica Basement Systems offered Egress windows, and in two short days, Chad and Rebecca had a brighter basement that they could enjoy.

Laurette had a previous waterproofing system previous, but was still having issues with mold growing. During evaluation, it was noted that water was seeping in through foundation cracks, leaving moisture in the air, causing the mold to grow. It was proposed that she had a SaniDry CX installed to eliminate the moisture in the air, and installed BrightWall over the existing foundation walls. BrightWall gives a clean, bright look to the basement, while providing a moisture barrier. BrightWall is made of waterproof rigid plastic, that you will never have to worrying about painting, chipping, warping, molding or rotting. Mold has now been tackled in Laurette’s basement, and BrightWall has transformed her nasty basement walls into something beautiful.
