Steven from Centerbrook, CT has an enclosed porch that needed a new roof. Our sales inspector, Greg, visited Steven with a free inspection and quote for the new roof replacement. Due to the roof being flat, the process is different than the traditional Klaus Roofing roof replacement. New shingles are not installed however a protective PolyGlass barrier is placed over the wood ensuring protection from the elements. Steven is now worry-free with a flattering flat roof over his porch! The Klaus Roofing Way!
This ranch home in Marlborough, CT had a roof that was about 25 years old with excessive leaking around the skylights. We stripped the old shingles, to start fresh at the decking. All of our disposed of asphalt is brought to a facility to be processed into recycled road asphalt. The ProArmor Synthetic Underlayment is installed beneath the shingles, which is another layer of water repellant material. We replaced the skylights with Velux Skylights, and flashed them to prevent any future leaking.
When we replaced the roof here in Marlborough, the owners also wanted better ventilation. We installed two attic fans to help remove the excess heat from the attic. This will reduce ice dams and cool the home in the Winter.
This 1970's ranch-style home located in Marlborough, CT was in need of a new roof replacement. This home was equipped with old single tabbed shingles, which don't last as long as new architectural style shingles. We stripped the existing roof and laid down new plywood decking to support the structure of the home. We then laid down Ice & Water Shield and ProArmor Synthetic Underlayment to protect the home from any moisture from the outside elements. This home needed a new bathroom exhaust vent hood with a built-in damper which includes a new flex duct from the fan to the hood. The small chimney on this home also needed some new lead flashing to prevent any future leaks from entering the home.
