This Victorian style home located in Windsor, CT was in need of a complete roof replacement. Built in the 1900s, this home still had on the old-style single tabbed shingles. We first stripped the existing roof and replaced any of the damaged plywood decking. Then, we protected the home from moisture and added new shingles. This home had a chimney which needed new flashing to make sure that no rain could get in through the chimney. 

This single-family home in Windsor, CT had significant water damage and turned to Klaus Larsen Roofing to fix the problem. After tearing off 1 layer of existing roofing material, we replaced 5 layers of damaged plywood decking on the roof. We then installed 3 rows of Ice & Water Barrier near all eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. in order to secure the roof from any possible leaking. In terms of shingles, we installed a wonderful brown which brightens the exterior of the home. We finished by installing 5 brand new Velux Skylights on the roof.
