Facing excess humidity and water infiltration within a room in a basement, our clients called us for help. It was clear that their basement walls and floors were deteriorated from the excess moisture and the leakage. We started by installing our WaterGuard internal drainage system which will successfully channel any infiltrated water outside house and far from the foundation. Next, we put in place our excellent Basement to Beautiful panels. This is the perfect system to install in case basement finishing is planned, as it provides outstanding thermal insulation. And to complete the basement finishing, we installed our high quality ThermalDry Walls and Elite Waterproof Flooring. Client was extremely satisfied with the results as he directly noticed the difference. 

Mr. Robert contacted us because he needed help with moisture problems in his crawlspace. Upon arriving at the free inspection, we found that the best solution was to encapsulate his crawlspace with the CleanSpace vapor barrier. To start, our team removed the debris from the crawlspace. They then installed the drainage mat, followed by the CleanSpace vapor barrier. Finally, they installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier and a SmartDrain drain system to ensure good humidity and prevent flooding.

The team installed a CleanSpace membrane, specifically designed to create an ultra-resistant moisture barrier, which will greatly help prevent mold growth. This product is guaranteed for 25 years and consists of a robust material with a thickness of 20 mil.

After the installation of this product, the Crawl Space has better look and the service cellar is much brighter, due to the whiteness and specifications of the membrane.

Relative humidity is one of the causes of crawl space problems for when its high mold will begin to grow, the floors will decay, and the place will be filled with insects and critters.

So in order to fix high humidly problems, we need to fix leaking groundwater and to cover the exposed earth from the floor by water vapor membranes.

By installing a sump pump system in this crawl space in Sainte-Anne-Des-Plaines, that is specially designed for crawl spaces, such as our SmartSump , we make sure that the water leaking in gets to it instead of ponding.

As for the wet walls and exposed earth, we installed the patented CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system, which is a very heavy duty material that has an anti-microbial ingredient molded into the material to resist mold and bacteria growth.
