Problem:
Mr. Jonas living in Montreal, contacted us after detecting a sagging floor in his house. Our specialist Patrick visited for a free and detailed inspection. After careful examination of the crawlspace, Patrick identified efflorescence on the concrete, resulting from excess moisture. In addition, there was water infiltration, as well as mold. The suitable solution and the detailed procedure was discussed with our client.
Solution:
Our team of experienced worker, managed by Jawad, began by installing our galvanized steel SmartJack supports, to stabilize and lift the sagging floor joists. Next, they encapsulated the crawl space to eliminate moisture and water infiltration. This is done by installing the CleanSpace system including drainage mattings and CleanSpace barriers. In addition, SmartDrain bucket was also installed to identify potential plumbing leaks. Mr. Jonas was relieved since the crawlspace is finally well isolated and maintained.
Challenge
Mr. Marc, owner of a house in Boileau, contacted us because there were problems with his crawl space. Our specialist Eric visited for a free, detailed inspection. He was able to identify mold and excess humidity. In addition, there was water infiltration. In addition, Eric again noticed a sagging floor in Mr. Marc's house.
Solution
Our team of workers, led by Felix, began by installing three SmartJack galvanized steel supports to stabilize the floor.
Next, the walls of the crawl space were insulated with our SilverGlo thermal insulation, before installing the TripleSafe sump pump system comprising three pumps.
Next, the crawl space was encapsulated using our CleanSpace system, consisting of the drainage matting and the vapor barrier.

Winters in our country are distressing times for us and our houses. When crawl spaces are not encapsulated and well maintained, they can lead homeowners to loose both money and comfort.
This is why we always recommend an encapsulation of the crawl spaces by installing a vapor barrier called CleanSpace.
A vapor barrier slows or prevents the evaporation of ground moisture into the crawl space air. If coupled with a waterproofing system, moisture and water can be expelled from the crawl space before it can cause problems. No more rot, rust, mold, odors, insects or other moisture-related problems.
Mr. Grant wanted to sell his house but the state of his crawl space was not encouraging many potential buyers and he was not receiving as many offers as he wanted.
Our specialist took his time and assessed the place in order to make sure that the best solution was found for Mr. Grant.
Our team started first by installing a pump specially designed for crawl spaces, the SmartSump. This pump keeps the crawl space dry on the cutting edge of technology. Next, we encapsulated the space with the CleanSpace product, which helps make the space clean, usable and cuts moisture. Under this membrane, we have added Drainage Matting, to facilitate the redirection of water to the pump.
Our client Mr. Randy found that during winter the main floor of his property was really cold, colder than the rest of the house. Yet he knew that the crawl space had been isolated by the former owners. He saw on our website that these spaces are one of our areas of expertise and that our team offers free quotes so he took quickly an appointment.
During the appointment, Mr. Randy showed the space and the existing insulation to our certified specialist. The choice of insulation was not efficient and certainly not efficient enough for a crawl space with exposed earth.
Our specialist recommended our CleanSpace encapsulation product. This membrane acts as a barrier between the earth and the rest of the house, blocking as much moisture in the water, as in insects or rodents. Mr. Randy also included the TerraBlock insulation product for additional insulation.
