This home was built in the late 1900's and the homeowner was looking into getting this unfinished basement free from dust which was caused by the stone walls and make the basement usable. We installed out EverLast perimeter walls creating the finishing look that is designed to maximize and bring out the true potential. On the floor we installed our gray Elite Plank flooring which is made up of durable inorganic material and is waterproof, making it great for high traffic. Lastly, we painted the ceilings black creating the high ceiling look.
This basement in general was just a damp basement. The customer tried to correct the issue himself with purchasing 2 standard dehumidifiers but it just was not cutting it. We came out and installed BrightWall paneling which keeps water vapor and humidty from passing through your foundation walls all while giving your basement a bright clean look. We also installed a Sanidry Upright Dehumidifier which removes up to 109 liters of water per day, waterguard and a SuperSump Pump.
This customer just recently waterproofed his basement and was ready to start the stages of turning this basement in to a multi purpose room. The first stage we completed and will be shown is the installation of a ceiling and our TBF Everlast Wall System.
Our TBF Wall System is made of durable, hard-surface panels that will withstand daily use without surface damage. These panels are washable, mold and stain resistant and future SilverGlo, which is our high density, waterproof foam insulation. We also installed our Non Organic ceiling tiles which comes with a 30 year warranty against any sagging or mold.
This Lancaster customer reached out to Quality 1st Basement Systems wanting to upgrade their current standard window, to an Egress.
We came out and installed a 48x40 Egress Window with a Wellduct to tie into the current drainage system and a Rockwell and cover.
This project was for a highly satisfied customer of ours. We had just completed an install of our EverLast Wall System and Ceiling Tiles and the customer requested a free quote for flooring. We sent the original inspector, Joshua Jackson, out to his home to provide some flooring samples and help pick the best flooring system for this basement. Once the final product was chosen, by customer request, we sent foreman Chris Cote, back out to install.
This installation consisted of our Canyon Beige, ThermalDry Tile Flooring. Our ThermalDry flooring is great for basements, it turns the hard, cold concrete into comfortable flooring. The ThermalDry tiles are inorganic, water resistant tiles that have pegs on the bottom to provide air space and a thermal break.
