Our team conducted a thorough inspection and recommended the installation of our patented SmartJack Reinforcement System, which provides strong, adjustable support to weakened beams. The system was carefully installed, effectively stabilizing the foundation and lifting the beams back into position.

At Quality 1st, we recently tackled a challenge faced by a homeowner in Annapolis, MD, who was dealing with an old and decaying vapor barrier in their crawl space. The dirt floor beneath their home was not only a concern for the integrity of their property but also for their health, as damp crawl spaces can lead to mold and poor air quality inside the home. Our System Design Specialist visited the home, where a thorough examination revealed the issues at hand. We proposed installing our CleanSpace liner along with a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to completely encapsulate the crawl space, prevent moisture entry, and ensure the air remained dry and healthy. 

Water has been getting into this dirt crawlspace in this Middle River, MD home. The insulation from the last job was falling off the walls. They called Quality 1st Basements to assess their water damage. System Design Specialist, Jeff Yentzer did a full inspection and recommended a CleanSpace encapsulation. CleanSpace is made from a durable liner that creates a barrier from the moist wall to the crawlspace air and the material doesn't support the growth of mold or mildew. The homeowner can now relax knowing their encapsulated crawlspace is fully protected from further moisture damage and they have a pleasing to the eye storage space. 

Open sump pits are hazardous, unsightly and prone to clogging with debris. This customer was dealing with issues from their current sump system and was looking to upgrade. We recommended our Supersump Plus with the Zoeller M63 1/3 HP pump. This pump is housed in a durable plastic sump liner that includes an airtight lid, a pump stand to prevent silt and small objects from clogging the intake, and a waterwatch alarm to alert the homeowner if the water level rises above the point where the pump should turn on.

This customer reached out to Quality 1st Basement Systems to help replace his old rusty window wells that were currently pulling away from the homes foundation and had no drainage system or covers. We came out and replaced all 4 window wells with our Sunhouse enclosures, this includes Sunhouse wells and Sunhouse covers.
