This homeowner noticed that her front steps leading up to her porch were beginning to pull away from her home, which caused damage to the brick façade as well as presented a tripping hazard. She was concerned about the tripping hazard, so she conducted research into solving this problem. After this research, she found us and she was confident we could help her.
We sent System Design Specialist Bobby Bartow to inspect the stairs and come up with a comprehensive solution for her concrete stair problem. Bobby found that the soil under the front porch steps had been eroding overtime and the soil was no longer able to support the weight of the steps. The steps then broke free from the porch and began to pull away from the home as their weight was not supported. Although this situation was difficult, Bobby and his team knew just what to do. They got to work utilizing PolyLevel foam to lift the stairs to their original position, then they utilized NexusPro Cracked Concrete Repair to seal the cracks and joints of the stairs.
After the project was completed, the homeowner was so happy that Thrasher was able to fix her problem. Check out her newly repaired porch stairs!
