Portland, ME homeowners met with System Design Specialist Louis D. from TC Hafford Basement Systems for help with their crawlspace. They wanted to install a vapor barrier to address their moisture issues. Our team removed all of the old plastic and debris from the crawlspace, as well as the old, damp fiberglass insulation. We installed CleanSpace with drainage matting, an inorganic vapor barrier that attaches to the walls to seal the crawlspace. Our SprayFoam Specialist Travis L. also installed SprayFoam along the rim joists and top of the walls, providing an added air and moisture seal.

The CleanSpace Wall System was installed on the customer's basement walls to prevent moisture from entering the basement. This system is designed to create a barrier that blocks water vapor and helps to keep the basement dry and free from mold and mildew. It also helps to improve the overall air quality in the basement by reducing the amount of moisture in the air.
System Design Specialist Craig Z. met with homeowners in Pownal, ME after they contacted TC Hafford Basement Systems for help with their crawlspace. The homeowners had a damp and dingy crawlspace that was in need of waterproofing. We installed CleanSpace with drainage matting. CleanSpace is an inorganic vapor barrier that seals out moisture and also helps prevent mold, mildew and rot. The drainage matting allows a channel for water to flow to the SmartSump pump system the homeowners already had in place to remove water. Their crawlspace is dry and protected, and has a new fresh look!
When this Peaks Island, ME homeowner noticed the musty smell coming from their crawlspace, there had already been a moisture problem for some time. Looking to have this remedied, they hired us at TC Hafford Basement Systems, and we got our crew sent over to get the job done! To prevent future leakages from reaching the interior of the crawlspace, a Drainage Matting and CleanSpace liner were utilized to form a vapor barrier. This will brighten up the interior of the crawlspace and hold any moisture on the exterior of the space; allowing it to easily flow back out through the ground below. Finally, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to eliminate any moisture still present in the space. This will ensure the crawlspace remains completely moisture-free for years down the road!
