This homeowner wanted to get his house fixed up before his daughter came to visit him. He knew that his floors had been settling in the middle for some years, however he hasn't wanted to pay much attention to this problem until the present. After having many people tell him that they couldn't fix it, he gave us a call to see what we could do to help.
We sent System Design Specialist Kevin French to inspect the support underneath the floor, and see what was happening. Kevin took a look in the crawlspace and saw that there was no climate control system in the crawlspace which had allowed the supports to sink down and not hold up the floor anymore. After showing this to the homeowner and reassuring that this problem can be fixed, the homeowner was relieved that someone had finally given him a solution. Our team went out to the home and installed SmartJacks and a supplemental support beam to lift the floors closer to being flat. These products helped to strengthen and stabilize the floor so that the home was more secure.
The homeowner was thrilled that we were able to help him. He thought the crew did an amazing job and he can't wait until his daughter comes to visit now. Check out the new crawlspace supports in this home!

This 100-year-old house had walls that were starting to bow and this homeowner was worried that the foundation may collapse. This bowing-wall problem is caused by the normal geostatic pressure and water pressure pressing the wall for 100 years. We fixed this issue by installing wall support to stabilize the walls and keep them upright.
This property was actually a rental home for the customer, and during the inspection, the inspector pointed out some problems with the walls that needed to be fixed before they could give they okay. Specifically, the south wall of the house was bowing about 1 1/2 inches and it needed immediate support.
Since there were some challenges with the project, like the use of Red Clay tile, our team decided that Power Braces would be the best option. We carefully chose these braces because they were the most suitable solution considering the specific constraints and difficulties of the project.
By using Power Braces, we were able to stabilize the wall effectively. It provided the customer with a solution that was appropriate and efficient, addressing their needs without any unnecessary extra steps.
