The bowing walls in this basement were disconcerting to Dixon, IL homeowners. They called the experts at MidAmerica Basement Systems, and soon thereafter, the problem was stabilized with PowerBraces.

The water seepage was really affecting this Dixon homeowner's basement, so they did the smart thing and called the experts at MidAmerica Basement Systems to get a free estimate. Soon, a new SuperSump sump pump was installed in the basement, and the walls were protected with CleanSpace. The homeowners are happy to have a working sump pump and an attractive wall covering, working with our patented WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system. 

Eric of Dixon had recently turned his basement into a livable area, but it didn’t feel finished. He really liked the like idea of installing an egress window to provide more light in his basement. Eric made a call to MidAmerica Basement Systems for a quote on a StakWel egress window. During the estimation, Dustin from MABS proposed installing a pump and StakWel window cover. This helps prevent water for seeping into the sill and pooling, allowing for a longer lasting unit. The StakWel egress now allows for more light in Eric’s basement, and also provides a safety escape for emergencies.

New sump pump added to a home in Buda, IL 

The homeowner wanted to waterproof and restore the basement walls. There had been signs of mold growth along the bottom half of the wall so the homeowner knew that they needed a solution that would not only be effective at waterproofing, but looked great as well. The homeowners gave MidAmerica Basement Systems a call. 

The first image, is the basement wall before being replaced with EverLast Wall Restoration Panels or the perimeter being waterproofed with WaterGuard XL. 

WaterGuard XL perimeter drainage system directs wall leaks as well as leaks coming from ground water surrounding the foundation to flow to the local sump pump. The EverLast Wall Restoraton panels are made of materials that are inorganic which is important when trying to minimize mold growth. Drainage matting is installed to help foundation wall leaks to drain to the WaterGuard XL. The CleanSpace is installed with the EverLast Wall Restoration panels to help keep water and vapor behind the liners for a dryer and healthier wall system. 

The homeowner now has basement walls that are not only efficient but gives the basement a cleaner, and warmer tone.
