Danielle and Ben were having issues with their basement windows. During heavy rains, water would collect in the window wells and seep into their basement. They contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems to have their windows replaced for a better and more efficient seal. Cole communicated with the homeowners that replacing the windows will not solely stop water from seeping into their basement, but will help. He suggested that installing a SunHouse Window Well and cover will add additional help to stopping water seepage. Danielle and Ben now have beautiful basement windows.

What good is a Sump Pump if it isn’t doing its job? Making sure your sump pump is getting its annual maintenance is extremely important. At MidAmerica Basement Systems we want to make sure that the products we install in your home are working to the best of their ability. At your annual maintenance appointment, we will make sure to do a full check of your sump pump which includes taking the sump pump out of its pit and making sure that all of the parts are fully functioning and clear of silt and sentiment.

Christopher and Dianne needed a full perimeter WaterGuard System and a Sump Pump. They decided to go with a TripleSafe Sump Pump. The TripleSafe Sump Pump is a three-pump system that comes equipped with a battery back up and a WaterWatch Alarm. The WaterWatch Alarm is placed in the top of the sump pump system to make sure that the water in the sump pump never overflows. The alarm will sound letting you know that the water is getting close to the top. The TripleSafe Sump Pump battery backup is included so that if you ever lose power during a storm you can rest easy knowing that your pump is still running.

Homeowner Fran was worried about her crawlspace as it was wet and smelled musty. She was unable to use the space as storage, due to the potential water damage to her belongings. She had the crawlspace fully encapsulated with CleanSpace, which is similar to a thick pool liner that lines all of the walls and floors and then sealed. This water barrier allows for the space to stay dry and free of mold, enabling it to be used to store belongings.
