Eric in Willington, CT reached out after discovering mold on the underside of his roof and noticing discoloration along the back section. Even though the roof was only about 15 years old, the ventilation in that area wasn’t doing its job, leading to trapped moisture and the start of mold growth.
To fix the issue at its source, we did a partial roof replacement focused on the problem area. All of the plywood in the back section was removed and replaced to eliminate any lingering mold. We also added the AirFlow Complete ridge vent system across the back to dramatically improve air circulation. With better airflow, heat, and humidity won’t get trapped under the roof anymore, stopping mold before it can return.
Eric also chose to replace his old leaf protection with the Raindrop Gutter Guard System, which helps keep gutters flowing properly so water doesn’t back up and add to moisture problems. We finished off the job with IKO Dynasty shingles in Summit Gray, giving the roof a clean, uniform look with the performance to match.
Tom in Willington, CT, had recently purchased his home and wanted to take care of a few exterior concerns right away. After removing trees that had been hanging over the roof, he noticed moss buildup on the back side and knew it was time to start thinking about a replacement. Rather than wait for issues to develop, he reached out to get ahead of them and protect his new home. Our team completed a full roof replacement using IKO Dynasty shingles in the color Glacier, giving the home a clean, updated look and long-term protection. Pam in Willington, CT, reached out to us when she noticed her roof was starting to show its age. At around 28 years old, the shingles on the front side had begun to curl, even though there were no active leaks yet. Having seen our work in the area over the years, she felt comfortable moving forward with a full roof replacement on both her home and garage. Our crew removed the old roofing materials and inspected the decking to make sure everything underneath was solid. After preparing the surface, we installed SealoronXT Ice & Water along the vulnerable areas and covered the rest with VeloraONE Roof Underlayment to help protect against future moisture issues. The project was completed with IKO Dynasty shingles in the color Driftshake, giving Pam’s home and garage a clean, updated look and a roofing system built to last.

To revive the roof at this Craftsman style home built in the 1940's in Stafford Springs, we completely stripped the existing roof and replaced it with all new roofing materials. This home had ample damaged plywood decking that needed replacement as well as existing single-tabbed shingles that needed to be torn off. We also used ProArmor Synthetic Underlayment, which is a durable, tear-resistant material engineered to repel water and to adhere t the roofing surface. This home also had an existing skylight, which we replaced with a new Veluz Fixed Deck Mount Skylight. In addition, we also removed and installed new 5" Aluminum Seamless Gutters.
