Nicole in Bloomfield, CT, gave us a call when her rental property needed a roof replacement. We had already installed a new roof on her own home, so she knew exactly who to trust for this project. Our crew performed a full roof replacement, removing the old shingles and any damaged materials before securing the deck with SealoronXT Deck Tape. We then applied SealoronXT Ice & Water along the edges and valleys, followed by VeloraONE Roof Underlayment to seal and protect the surface. For the finishing touch, we installed IKO Dynasty shingles in Summit Gray using 6-ring shank roofing nails, which lock each shingle tightly to the deck. This ensures the shingles stay secure, no nail pops, lifting, or slipping, so Nicole’s property will stay protected for many years to come. The Klaus Roofing Way!
The time had come for a new roof on this Newington, CT home. However, we changed the roof for the better!
This ranch style home in Newington, CT was built in 1929. The owner of the home contacted Klaus Larsen because the roof was old and it was time to replace it. After tearing off two layers of exising roofing materials, the damaged plywood decking was replaced. Three rows of barrier was installed. New lead flashing was installed, along with a new 3' Perma-Boot in the color Black. Architectural-style asphalt shingles in the color of Estate Gray, were used to complete the new roof on this home!
This attractive single-family home was in desperate need of a roof replacement. We started by tearing off 1 layer of existing roofing materials, as well as replacing the entire roof's decking with brand new plywood. Next we installed 3 rows of Ice & Water Shield near all eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. For shingles we installed the Duration TruDefinition Shingle in the color Desert Tan. In effort to provide top-notch roof ventilation, we installed a Ridge Vent with a Weather Protector moisture barrier. Lastly, we removed and installed 5" aluminum seamless gutters in the color white. This house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
Original roof was 30 years old and needed new flashing around the chimney that was causing leaks.
