We first replaced any damaged plywood decking and laid down our Klaus Larsen Roofing SealoronXT Ice & Water self-sealing membrane to create a moisture barrier between the decking and the shingles. For even more protection, we installed our own Velora One Underlayment, a high performance synthetic underlayment designed to protect the home in even the most severe weather. Located in Unionville, CT, this recently-bought home was in need of new architectural style shingles to protect the inside of the home. We first stripped the existing single tabbed shingles and brought them to the Asphalt Roof Recycling Center in Stratford, CT to be turned into asphalt roads. Then we replaced any damaged plywood decking. We installed a Total Protection Roofing System with new shingles. To top it off, we installed a VentSure Ridge Vent to provide top-notch consistent attic ventilation to the home.
