Single Family Home Roof Replacement in Niantic, CT

This single family home in Niantic, CT was in need of a new roof. Klaus Larsen Roofing started the process by removing one layer of existing roofing materials and replacing 5 layers of damaged plywood decking. Next, we installed 3 rows of  Ice & Water Barrier near all eaves, valleys, and chimneys. In terms of shingles, we installed Duration TruDefinition Shingles in the color Driftwood. Lastly, we installed 2 mounted Velux FS Skylights. This house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!

Niantic, CT Roof Replacement

This homeowner in Niantic, CT had previously used Klaus Larsen Roofing to replace the roof on their last home, so when their new home’s 17-year-old roof began leaking, they knew exactly who to call! The before photo highlights the weathering marks streaking down the shingles, clearly showing the roof’s age and need for a replacement. On the day of installation, we ensured a top-tier experience for the homeowner. Our on-site Project Manager walked them through each step, from removing the old roof to inspecting and replacing any rotting decking. With new plywood boards in place, we applied the IKO Dynasty shingles, offering both a refreshed look and long-lasting protection for their home. Put a Klaus on Your House!

Colonial Home Roofing Project in Lebanon, CT

On this Lebanon property, we used the Cambridge line of Harvard Slate IKO shingles to make a beautiful country home even more beautiful. Our 'after' image was taken awhile after the completion of this project, but the luster of the shingle and the 'new roof look' remains.

Roof Replacement Project in Lebanon, CT

The black streaks on this Lebanon roof are from a blue-green algae spore that is prevalent in humid climates. We don't recommend cleaning your roof with abrasive chemicals, as they will harm the shingles. The metallic coating on chimney flashing helps to deter algae growth, but modern algae-proof shingles are your best bet for prevention.
