After a SmartJack Crawlspace Support System is installed to fix uneven floors, annual maintenance is recommended. Sometimes the foundation integrity is disrupted by settling soils and movement; therefore the Service Technician performs a number of steps during maintenance to ensure that all jacks are in good condition and doing their job to prevent sagging or uneven floors above. At this Neptune home, Service Technician Willie checked to make sure that all jacks were in solid contact with the overhead beams. Due to some loosening, Willie had to tighten the SmartJacks and check to make sure the beam was once again level. If conditions such as the above are noticed, a recommendation is made to have biannual maintenance due to the movement found.
