A Westfield homeowner loved using her basement as a recreational area for family and friends. However, the concrete floors were cold and anything but cozy. She called Quality 1st Basement Systems and the crew came out to finish her floors with ThermalDry Floor Matting, which is made up of modular floor tiles that snap together. Each tile has raised pegs underneath to create space, preventing cold air and water from seeping through. Now this homeowner has a beautifully, completely finished basement!

This homeowner had water issues in the basement with rain and melting snow. Although there was a sump pump present, water was still coming in through the wall and the floor. Quality 1st replaced the sump pump with a TripleSafe Sump Pump System. The team removed the lower part of the drywall that had water damage and replaced it with EverLast Wall Restoration. These panels are mold resistant and waterproof so the homeowner never has to worry about water leaks ruining the walls again.  

A homeowner located in Freehold, NJ, wanted to resolve concerns relating to water seepage and structural longevity within their home, and decided it was time to reinforce and essentially finish their basement.

Homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems about Wall products she wanted installed in her basement to give it a more finished look. Over time from water seepage, efflorescence appeared on the walls and so the homeowner wanted a product that would be protected against water, mold and moisture. BrightWall creates a vapor barrier on the basement wall to block out water vapor and humidity. This durable, bright white wall will never rot or grow mold. BrightWall gives the basement a more finished look while protecting the basement. 

When the basement floods, the drywall becomes damamged by water and needs to be removed and replaced to avoid mold. Our EverLast Restoration Wall System is installed on the bottom portion of the drywall to prevent future wall damage. This wall system is not only waterproof but has built-in installation to keep the basement warm.
