This customer got a finished space featuring our waterproof and mold-resistant products: Mill Creek flooring, Everlast Wall System, and a dropped ceiling. We installed a lovely full bathroom, but since the bathroom sits below the level of the main sewer line and drainage depends on gravity, we also installed a sewer ejection system. (Don't worry! We hid it under the floor in the linen closet. Out of sight, out of mind!) Electric baseboard heat was added to keep the space toasty warm, and a new SaniDry XP Air System handles any moisture in the air and leaves the basement with fresh, filtered air. A wonderful place to hibernate this Winter!
Here we have the installation of a top-of-the-line TripleSafe Sump system. The TripleSafe is capable of pumping over 6,000 gallons per hour and also operates on battery backup in case of power failure.
A homeowner in Wilmington, DE was dealing with increased moisture in their basement caused by persistent water seepage during heavy rains. Concerned about potential long-term damage such as mold growth, structural weakening, and unhealthy air quality, they turned to Quality 1st for a reliable solution.
Our team performed a detailed inspection of the basement and crawl space, identifying areas of concern including perimeter seepage, leaking window wells, and sagging floors above the crawl space. Based on these findings, we developed a comprehensive, customized waterproofing and support plan tailored to the unique conditions of the home.
To resolve the water intrusion, we installed our patented WaterGuard Drainage System along the basement perimeter to effectively capture and redirect incoming water to our TripleSafe Sump Pump, which provides triple-layered protection against flooding, even during power outages. To prevent window well leaks, our WellDuct System was added to channel water directly into the drainage system. Additionally, our SmartJack System was installed to stabilize and lift the sagging floor joists above the crawl space, restoring structural integrity to the living space above.
Together, these systems eliminated the moisture problems and reinforced the home's foundation, leaving the basement dry, stable, and ready for long-term use with complete peace of mind.
In Wilmington, DE, a homeowner faced the common challenge of a damp and untrustworthy basement that threatened the integrity of their entire home. The issues of water seepage and unstable foundation walls had become an increasing concern, prompting them to seek a professional waterproofing and foundation repair solution. The solution involved installing the WaterGuard system to channel water away from their basement, the TripleSafe sump pump for reliable water removal even during power outages, and the EverBrace wall restoration system for permanent stabilization of their foundation walls. Our dedicated production team then arrived on site to meticulously execute the plan. The first step involved installing the WaterGuard, smartly hidden beneath a refined layer of concrete to ensure the system remains effective and aesthetically pleasing. The flow of any wall or floor seepage was now directed efficiently to the newly installed TripleSafe sump pump. This pump, with its innovative multi-pump and backup power design, ensured the basement stayed dry even during unpredictable weather. Following that, we strengthened their foundation using our EverBrace system. Steel corrugated panels and I-beams were strategically installed, offering not just repair, but an improvement over the original wall's strength and durability.
