A homeowner in Westfield, New Jersey had high humidity and moisture in their crawl space and needed it encapsulated and contacted Quality 1st for a solution. Our System Design Specialist inspected the crawl space and recommended that it be encapsulated. First, drainage matting was installed on the crawl space floor to make sure no water gets trapped underneath the liner. The matting has raised dimples to make sure this does not happen and direct the water to the sump pump. CleanSpace vapor barrier liner was installed on the crawl space walls and floors to make sure no water vapor or humidity passes through. CleanSpace will ensure that the crawl space stays dry and healthy. To filter the crawl space air and keep it clean, the SaniDry Sedona is an efficient, high-performance dehumidifier that is small enough to fit into small crawl spaces. The Sedona will prevent any mold or mildew growth in the crawl space. The homeowners were pleased with the transformation of their crawl space.   

The crawlspace under our customer's home in Westfield was not doing a good job of holding up the floors above.
