Toms River homeowner called Quality 1st with moisture issues in his home due to his crawl space. A dirt crawl space will inevitably cause water vapor issues since it is impossible to dry the earth. In addition to the dirt space, the concrete block walls are the least resistant to water or air, exacerbating the moisture problems. Quality 1st crew members installed CleanSpace, which is a plastic liner, to seal this Toms River home crawl space. SmartVents were also installed to seal off the crawl space door and insulate the crawl space. The final solution for this homeowner was the SaniDry Crawl Space dehumidifier which completely dried out the space and will continue to dry the air making this crawl space clean, dry, and no longer a concern for this homeowner and his family.
Toms River homeowner faced a musty smell coming from what seemed to be her crawl space. Even in a crawl space with concrete flooring, water vapor can penetrate the concrete and causes moisture, humidity, and eventually mold in the space. Quality 1st installed the CleanSpace crawl space vapor barrier to fully waterproof the crawl space. Not only will the CleanSpace seal this home off from the earth, but its antimicrobial additive will further decrease mold symptoms for this Toms River family!
The basement walls were damaged due to water vapor, with signs of damage clear by the efflorescence marks. The Quality 1st Basement System installation crew installed BrightWall Panels in this basement. BrightWall Panels are made of plastic, which makes them waterproof and mold resistant as well as durable. These panels give basements a semi-finished touch, without breaking the bank.
