In this ranch-style home, the crawl space was made of dirt and was in need of encapsulation. We went out to the home to clean out the space and removed all fallen insulation that had gotten ruined over time. The team installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier throughout the crawl space and wrapped each pillar to prevent any type of moisture from leaking into the area. Once the waterproof plastic material is placed, we also installed our Sanidry Dehumidifier that will keep the space dry, moisture-free, and will no longer have the musty smell.
At this raise farmhouse property the owner could feel the cold air coming up into the home. We encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier that will capture any moisture or vapor that seeps in. Then we placed on the foundation walls our SilverGlo insulated wall panel system that is high-efficiency graphite-impregnated insulation designed to keep the entire crawl space warm and will help save the homeowner money in the long run.
This homeowner in Ellicott City, MD noticed their basement was still attracting moisture and humidity. As a solution, we installed our ZenWall which are insulated wall panels that will cover the concrete foundation walls and protect the home from moisture. We also installed our ThermalDry Floor System to protect the floors. The homeowner's peace of mind was restored, thanks to our System Design Specialist and crewman.
Customer had a standard basement window that was cracked and allowing water to get into the finished basement. The customer reached out to us because they wanted to update the standard window to an Egress with hopes that it would help stop the water from getting into the basement.
For this basement project we installed an Egress Window a Wellduct, Waterguard and a SuperSump Pump. The well duct will direct any water getting in through the window well, down the WaterGuard, which will then flow to the SuperSump to be pumped out of the basement.
In order to be up to code and call this basement space a legal bedroom, the customer needed to have an Egress Window installed. We came out and installed a 48" x 48" Slider Egress Window.
