Greg Louis, Basement Design Specialist, proposed installation of the ultra-efficient Sedona Air System to remove moisture from the air and blow out a dry air into the space. This system was designed to keep the humidity levels below 50%, reducing the chance for mold to grow.  Additionally, a TripleSafe sump pump was proposed for installation as it includes an efficient primary pump, a back-up pump (in case the first one fails or if there is a need for extra pumping power), and a third battery-operated pump (designed to kick in if the power goes out). The peeling, flaky basement walls were covered over by SilverGlo walling to provide insulation and a cleaner finish. A house in Essex Fells, NJ had a sloped driveway that was moving water into the garage. Quality 1st Basement Systems installed a TrenchDrain drain channel, which will collect water at the end of the driveway and redirect it to a sump pump. Installation was quick and easy!

The Super Sump is capable of pumping 2,200 gallons of water an hour out an 8 foot head out of the basement. An UltraSump Backup Battery can be included with the sump pump and can pump 11,500 gallons or more on a single charge. With this sump pump the basement will stay dry and protected.
