A homeowner in Stewartsville, New Jersey had their floors sloping towards the middle of their house and there was also water in their basement. The homeowner contacted Quality 1st for a free estimate and our System Design Specialist inspected the basement. SmartJacks were installed to help support the home and provide stability. Recently a homeowner in Elmer NJ expressed concerns about water seepage in their basement. Right away they knew who to reach out to, the experienced team of experts at Quality 1st! Our system design specialist arrived ready to assess the necessary route to ensure zero chances of water leakage in the future. They were able to determine that the owner's current sump pump and dehumidifier weren't up to the required task and could no longer handle the capacity of water entering the space. Next, our foreman and his crew reached the premise and began installing our heavy-duty TripleSafe Sump Pump, providing the owner with three levels of protection, as well as our specially patented WaterGuard French Drainage System, along with our top of the line ultra fortified SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. These systems will provide this homeowner with total assurance and confidence that their storage space will continue to stay clean and dry for many years to come!
At this property, the dirt floor crawlspace was under the living room section of the house, which was causing the flood to get cold during the winter months. We encapsulated the area with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier and laid down a drainage matting under the vapor barrier that captures any moisture that seeps in. Then we installed our SilverGlo insulated wall panel that has been infused with graphite to improve its insulating ability to prevent moisture coming in.
