A Columbus, New Jersey resident had an old and failing sump pump system. Their current sump pump was not properly protecting this basement. It was not sealed or enclosed, which could cause water evaporation to get into the basement and cause mold. They called Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Greg Louis, suggested they install a new sump pump. Our foreman, Mario Barron, replaced the old sump pump with the TripleSafe Sump Pump System. This system has an airtight lid and will keep the basement dry and protected by draining out the water away from the home.
Check out this sump pump before and after in Columbus, NJ! We replaced this old sump pump with our SuperSump Pump System which will effectively pump water out of the basement, keeping it dry and healthy! Lets do a quick comparison: The existing sump pump has a plastic lid that does not properly seal the liner. The SuperSump has an airtight lid that protects the sump pump system inside. The old pump has a hole that allows water to evaporate back into the basement air. The SuperSump self drains and has an alarm system to alert the homeowner if it senses a problem.
Recently, a homeowner in Woodbine, NJ, observed their crawl space was experiencing seepage. Concerned about humidity and mold, they got in touch with us here at Quality 1st. Our System Design Specialist inspected the damp crawl space thoroughly, noting the levels of moisture and the presence of musty odors that indicated a mold risk. This wasn't just about water; it was affecting air quality, energy efficiency, and the longevity of the home structure. The recommended solution? CleanSpace to encapsulate the crawl space, locking out moisture, along with SaniDry Sedona to efficiently dehumidify and circulate dry air, ensuring no future moisture buildup.
Recently in Woodbine, NJ, a homeowner reached out to us at Quality 1st with concerns about their crawl space. They were experiencing issues of dampness and an unpleasant smell that seemed to stem from beneath their home. The proposed solution was to install our CleanSpace liner and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to tackle the dampness and air quality issues respectively. Our work began with the clean and efficient installation of the CleanSpace liner, a durable and mold-resistant material designed explicitly for such conditions. This liner is excellent for encapsulating a crawl space, keeping out moisture, pests, and mold, thereby creating a healthier home environment.
Along with waterproofing this homeowner's basement, we went along with replacing the basement windows as well. Their old windows were extremely dated and worn, causing leaks in the basement. We fitted custom egress windows to replace the old windows, ensuring the basement stays dry and the basement as a whole looks beautiful!
