Wendy is a new homeowner in Carroll, IA, and wanted to get the concrete on her driveway and walkway leveled out. After hearing good things about Thrasher, she decided to give us a call. 

We sent System Design Specialist Neil Kwiatkowski out to Wendy’s home. Neil saw that the front porch area and step broke off from so much settlement. The driveway also had significant areas of settlement, that created tripping hazards for anyone walking. The crew used PolyLevel to lift the concrete back up to the original height. Then closed the exposed joints with NexusPro Joint Sealant. Wendy couldn’t believe how great the area looked once the concrete repair was completed. 

This customer moved into his home 20 years ago and plans on passing it down to his son eventually. His garage and driveaway concrete is unlevel and just wants his peace of mind restored. This sunken slab was created from soil washout. To lift and level the driveway to be even with the garage, we used out PolyLevel expanding foam!

This homeowner is starting to get a little older and was worried about the trip hazards that were in her walkway and driveway. She had seen the ads for Thrasher Foundation Repair on her TV and decided to give us a call. System Design Specialist, Elliot Christians, came out to meet with her. He did his full thorough inspection, and found there was washout of soil under the concrete that was causing the concrete to settle. He came back to the homeowner with these findings and a solution. Together, they decided the best solution for her concerns would be to use our 2 Part Concrete Protection System. This consists of Polylevel and NexusPro. PolyLevel is used to lift, level, and stabilize the concrete, and NexusPro is used to seal the joints and cracks. Both of these products are also waterproof, so it will help prevent any washout in the future! Check out the before and after of this project. Anytime James would pull his car into the garage of his home in Shell Knob, MO there would be a big dip that he would have to drive over each time. He was worried that the settlement would get worse and affect other parts of the driveway. He started researching driveway repair options and came across Thrasher. The Thrasher crew went out to James’s home. During the inspection, the slab in front of the driveway had dropped 3.5 inches. We explained to James the benefits of our 3-part concrete protection system and got to work. We leveled the concrete with PolyLevel, then closed the joints with NexusPro Joint Sealant and then applied SealantPro to protect the whole driveway.
