Homeowners John and Mary M. in Raymore, MO were struggling with their concrete. The concrete on the front sidewalk and back patio were settling and cracking. They had concerns this would impact the rest of the concrete and didn’t want to have to replace it. Ready to learn about solutions John and Mary gave Thrasher a call.
System Design Specialist Derek Vaksdal went out to their home. We were able to lift the parts of the concrete that had settled with PolyLevel. Then to close the cracks and seal the joints we applied NexusPro Joint Sealant to keep water out and prevent the joints from opening again. John and Mary M. were extremely happy with how everything turned out!
Horn Memorial Hospital reached out to us because they had several tripping hazards on the curb and sidewalk. To prevent anyone from getting hurt entering or exiting their clinic, they knew they had to fix it.
Corey Little visited the clinic to inspect and provide the best solution. He found the concrete on the sidewalk and curb were dropping, creating some toe catchers. The joints were unsealed and there was problematic soil beneath the concrete which contributes to these problems.
To fix, our install team used PolyLevel to lift these sunken slabs. We then went in and caulked up our fix areas with NexusPro to make sure any moisture won't enter through the joints.
The job came out fantastic and the hospital can now feel better nobody will get injured walking in and out of the building.
Trimble, Missouri - Poor soil conditions had led to voids forming beneath the concrete slabs of this home's walkway. To lift and level the slabs, we injected our PolyLevel polyurethane foam to return support and stability to the sinking concrete. With a tripping hazard repaired and curb appeal restored, the homeowner was very pleased with the final result.
Check out the makeover this driveway got! Sealing the joints and stabilizing the ground underneath the concrete has this homeowner's driveway looking new again!
