Homeowner Leda G. noticed that the front stoop had settled in her Kansas City, MO home. She wanted to maintain the appearance of her home. She decided to call Thrasher and see how our concrete repair services could help her.
System Design Specialist Sam Pretz went out to the home. He explained to Leda how our concrete repair solutions would be able to lift and level the stoop. Our crew got started by leveling the concrete by using PolyLevel. Then we applied NexusPro Joint Sealant to close the cracks. Leda was not only impressed with how the concrete looked but with the efficiency of the crew.
Emily M., in Kansas City, MO, has noticed a significant amount of settling in her concrete driveway since moving into her home a year ago. She was concerned with the voids creating potential tripping hazards and their negative impact on the curb appeal of the home. After meeting with one of our System Design Specialists, Emily knew our products and customer experience would be the best for her home.
Our crews arrived at the home in Kansas City, MO, and immediately went to work leveling the concrete. We used our PolyLevel lifting foam to permanently stabilize the entire surface. It's a waterproof material to ensure that soil washout doesn't occur again in the future! Emily was so pleased with her Thrasher experience throughout the project, and we couldn't have been happier to bring her the peace of mind she needs in her home!
This homeowner had lived in their home since 2007, with no intention of moving. Over time, the driveway had a bump form as he came out of the garage, and it eventually got harder to get in and out of his garage. It was also quite the eye sore to see the uneven driveway, so he called us to inspect his driveway concrete.
We sent System Design Specialist Brandon Powers to inspect the concrete and come up with a solution for this homeowner. Brandon found that the top slabs of the driveway and walkway had voids underneath them due to soil erosion. He talked with the homeowner and explained that this issue was fixable without new concrete being poured, and the homeowner was thrilled. Our team used PolyLevel Concrete Leveling and NexusPro Cracked Concrete Repair to lift, level, and seal the concrete to prevent any further issues with soil erosion.
The homeowner liked that our team was able to not only fix this problem, but prevent it from happening again in the future. Check out his newly leveled driveway!
Tom witnessed a young girl crash her bike on the sidewalk in front of his house. Worried that others might trip and get hurt, he knew he had to do something. He also knew that he'd have to replace the concrete completely if he waited any longer and knew that would be a higher price tag.
After doing some research, Tom landed on choosing Thrasher because of our reputation and knowledge. He felt comfortable with us, the solution, and our price. We sent System Design Specialist, Brandon Powers, to inspect the concrete and develop a plan.
Brandon noticed areas of concrete settlement and cracking throughout his driveway, front walkway, and sidewalk. He also saw some issues with drainage in the front of the house where the downspouts were located.
Brandon proposed a plan and walked Tom through it. After that, our install team got on-site and got to work. We used PlyLevel to lift, level, and stabilize all of his concrete. Then we used NexusPro to repair cracks and seal all joints. We also buried two of his downspouts to help fix his drainage problem.
Tom was so happy with the final result and felt better knowing nobody in the neighborhood would get hurt from his unlevel sidewalk.
This customer has a pool in their backyard and discovered that the concrete around it was sunken. She wanted to get it fixed so that it couldn't get any worse. Our team was able to lift the sinking concrete back to its original position using PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam that is injected beneath the slab to stabilize it. To finish off the project, we sealed all the cracks and joints for long-term protection. Now this homeowner can enjoy their pool without having to worry about their concrete!
