Homeowner James has been making improvements to his home throughout the past few years and it was now time to tackle his cracked and sinking driveway. He had two driveway slabs that had dropped. Which created areas that water, snow, and ice would collect. It got so bad that as he was shoveling snow, his shovel would get snagged on those sunken areas. That's when he said "Enough is enough!" and called Thrasher. We sent System Design Specialist Bobby Bartow out to inspect his driveway and discuss solutions with James.
Bobby decided the best course of action would be to use PolyLevel foam to lift the areas that were down. And then use our NexusPro Joint and crack sealer in and around the areas we lifted to ensure those areas were safe from moisture. When we were finished, James was so grateful that we were able to get the job done, do it well, and even do it in 18-degree weather.
Lew is a homeowner in Independence, MO that needed concrete repair for the pool deck. Water would come into the home from the pool deck and the problem needed to be fixed before the problem became worse. System Design Specialist Daryn Britton went out to the home and recommended filling the voids underneath the concrete slabs to prevent water from moving the concrete. The crew lifted and stabilized the affected concrete with PolyLevel and then filled the joints with NexusPro Joint Sealant. Lew was thrilled by the outcome!
Cracked or unlevel concrete can lead to serious issues down the road. Concrete repair is essential for your driveway, sidewalk, or patio to protect it for the future.
This homeowner has recently been thinking about the age and health of his wife, himself, and their friends that often come over. He wants to protect everyone from falling on their sidewalk and step. Plus he wants to maintain the curb appeal of their home. We sent our team over to take a look at it and decipher what the issue is. We found that the soil around the concrete was dried out from warm weather, making the concrete sink. Then once it started to rain, the soil underneath was slowly washed away. To raise the concrete back up, we used our expandable foam that is injected below the concrete. Then we used NexusPro, a long-lasting silicone joint and crack sealant.

Our crews arrived at the home in Lee’s Summit and installed our 2-part concrete protection system. It began by injecting our Polylevel foam beneath the concrete’s surface to lift, level, and stabilize the settled areas. Then, our NexusPro joint sealer is applied to all cracks and control joints to prevent any water from causing damage in the future and give the driveway a flush, clean appearance.
