NBS was contacted by a concerned homeowner in Bessemer, MI. This customer's foundation was severly compromised and the homeowner was concerned about total failure of her walls. After a thorough inspection was performed, a plan to stabilize and straighten the foundation was drawn up. To achieve stabilization NBS used Geo-Lock Wall Anchors. To assure immediate straightening of the most affected wall seen in the before and after photos NBS excavated the exterior soil that was pushing this block wall in. The project was started in the late fall and completed in 2 days with minimal disruption to the property.

This homeowner had been dealing with settling concrete for many years. Northland Basement Systems was contracted to lift the approach along the front of the garage and the entrance to the house. Once the concrete was lifted all the joints were sealed using NexusPro sealant.
This homeowner was experiencing settlement in one corner of their home along with two sections of block walls bowing inward. The settlement was corrected by installing 8 of our 288 push piers from inside the basement. To stop further inward movement of the basement walls, we used Geo-Lock wall anchors. Once the home was stabilized, lifted, and the walls were pulled back into place the cracks were then tuck pointed.
