A Rumford, ME homeowner was frustrated with their ongoing water issues. They contacted TC Hafford Basement Systems for support. The basement had areas of constant standing water. The owner indicated there was no sump pump and they were interested in getting a pump, as well as any other solutions to help keep the basement dry. System Design Specialist Sam C. met with the homeowner to give a free estimate on the improvements. 

First we poured a new concrete slab to help protect against the old cracking slab. Slab WaterGuard was also installed along the perimeter of the basement to channel water to the new TripleSafe sump pump. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was also installed to help control the moisture in the space.

First we poured a new concrete slab floor to cover the dirt flooring. WaterGuard was installed around the perimeter of the basement to channel water to the new TripleSafe Sump Pump system. The TripleSafe drains water out of the basement and through an Exterior Buried Discharge line that is protected against ice buildup in the winter with IceGuard. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to control the moisture in the space. SprayFoam insulation was added to the rim joists to create an air tight seal and protect against moisture.

Now the homeowner can remodel their basement and enjoy the space without concern.
