We installed SmartJacks steel posts in the crawl space to support the floors above. SmartJacks are custom fit to the home and can be adjusted to lift and level the floors. When floors begin to sink it is often because moisture has weakened the wooden support beams over time. We also installed Spray Foam insulation on the crawl space walls, sealing out moisture and cold air. 

We helped homeowners in Corinth, Maine who had sagging floors and rotting, cracking support beams. Moisture had seeped into the crawl space and over time caused the beams to weaken and rot in some places. We installed SmartJacks support posts with new supplemental beams to keep the home stabilized. SmartJacks are made of galvanized steel with a coating that protects them from rusting. Each SmartJack can handle over 60,000 lbs and are custom fit to the space. We can tighten and adjust them over time to lift and level the floors above back to their original position.

We installed StableLock Wall, a poured concrete wall that goes directly over the failing wall to prevent further shifting or bowing. StableLock provides structural support to the home, and is much less costly and disruptive than traditional foundation repairs that would involve lifting the home.
