Installation crew, Ian and David, mobilized to execute the precision mechanical deployment of the structural anchoring network. The team deployed the GeoLock® Wall Anchor System, a high-capacity structural steel assembly designed to permanently stabilize bowing foundation walls. Outside the home, the crew excavated precise earthen points in the yard to embed heavy-duty steel earth anchors into highly stable, undisturbed soil strata well beyond the active failure zone. Internally, low-profile steel wall plates were positioned across the deflecting sections of the masonry. Brian, Ian, and David then threaded high-tensile steel connecting rods through the foundation walls, linking the interior plates directly to the exterior earth anchors.
Using specialized hydraulic tensioning equipment, the crew torqued the heavy-duty rod assemblies to lock the foundation walls into structural equilibrium. This mechanical tensioning immediately halted all inward lateral movement and secured the home's primary load-bearing configuration. A major technical advantage of this engineered system is its capacity for incremental tightening during dry soil cycles, allowing for potential structural straightening over time. Following a thorough post-installation site remediation and cleanup, the targeted engineering intervention by MidAmerica Basement Systems successfully eliminated the structural deflection, restoring permanent peace of mind and structural integrity so the homeowners could safely proceed with their subterranean living space renovation.

Finally, Justin and Devin S. lined the walls with the durable CleanSpace vapor barrier, preventing moisture vapor from entering the basement air and directing wall seepage down into the drainage system. The crew finished the installation and cleaned the site, leaving behind a fully stabilized, dry, and usable basement environment built to last.
