A crawlspace in Walshville, Illinois, needed to be sealed. It was leaking humid air up into the home, while also letting heat escape as well. Woods came in and installed the CleanSpace System to encapsulate the area. This system consists of a highly durable sheet of material that is placed directly on the walls and ground of the crawlspace. Not only does this help with the humidity, but this seal will also protect the crawlspace from rot, insects, and the outside elements. CleanSpace also brightens up the crawlspace, reflecting any available light back inward. With this installation in place, this crawlspace will be sealed for decades into the future.
Water had entered a crawlspace in Sorento, Il, causing damage. To solve this issue, the CleanSpace Encapsulation System was installed. This will separate the crawlspace from the earth and will reduce the humidity level. Any mold growth will also be eliminated, making the whole house healthier. Lastly, the white color will brighten the crawlspace and make it easier to see inside it. This crawlspace will now remain clean and dry for years to come!
Rocky of Farmersville, Illinois, had a musty, wet crawl space and wanted to fix it, so he called Woods Basement Systems for help. Systems design specialist, Brandon B. recommended the installation of CleanSpace and a Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier.
Foreman, James L. installed the products. The CleanSpace is a vapor barrier which works to fully seal off crawl spaces and basements from water, dirt, and critters. It is made of an inorganic material, so it does not support mold growth. The Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier is placed in the crawl space to keep out moisture.
Now Rocky T. can sleep easy, knowing his crawl space is dry.
This wall in Oakdale, IL. had a crack through the middle that was allow water to trickle through and into the home. While a water drainage system caught the trickle at the bottom, the water could still dissapate into the air or soak objects on or near the wall.
To stop that from happening, Dave P. installed CleanSpace™, a waterproof liner that totally captures the leaking water and directs it safely into the drainage system without giving it a chance soak other objects. CleanSpace™ is also anti-microbial, meaning any mold spores that the water brings with it won't be able to grow on the CleanSpace™ surface.
Because it is tear-proof and durable, CleanSpace™ can be permanently mounted to the wall to keep the inside dry, even if that wall is rugged or jagged like this concrete surface. It's low profile also means it can be hidden behind a finished wall after it's installed.
This small patch worked so well the homeowner installed CleanSpace™ in several more spots around the home.
Laurie and Kurt R. of Springfield, IL had a leaky crawlspace that was completely unusable for storage. They’d tried putting a plastic liner in the crawlspace before but it was flimsy and did nothing to keep water out of the crawlspace so they called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended a crawlspace encapsulation system.
Along the walls and floors of the crawlspace, Woods installed CleanSpace as part of the crawlspace encapsulation system. CleanSpace is a thick, durable plastic liner similar to a pool liner that is secured and sealed completely against the crawlspace walls and floors. It’s provides a moisture barrier that prevents encroaching water from entering the crawlspace, directing it instead down to the perimeter drainage system.
