This Creve Coeur homeowner's crawlspace was damp, dirty, and open to outside air, making the situation worse. If left untreated it could become a breeding ground for critters and mold, or worse, cause the floor above to fail. Because of the inconsistent temperature in the crawlspace, it makes regulating the temperature of the entire house extremely difficult. On top of that, the old insulation was failing all together. To remedy these issues, the CleanSpace encapsulation system was used, to create an airtight and moisture-free crawlspace, keeping water and outside air out. They also installed the SilverGlow insulation system to regulate the temperature better than the previously failing insulation. This will keep the home better insulated and free of mold, critters, and moisture for years to come.
Caprice B. of St. Louis, Missouri, had water leaking into her basement, so she decided to call Woods Basement Systems for a solution. Systems design specialist, Brenton K. was able to recommend installing a TripleSafe sump pump, CleanSpace, and WaterGuard.
Foreman, Juan H. installed the products. The TripleSafe sump pump uses a primary pump, secondary pump, and a backup battery-powered pump to keep your home protected all year round. CleanSpace is a vapor barrier that is attached to the wall and it collects water that seeps through the basement walls. The WaterGuard is located in the perimeter of the basement floor and it takes the collected water from the CleanSpace and guides it to the sump pump to be removed from the home.
Now Caprice B. has a dry basement.
Erin R is wanting her crawlspace finished. There is a lot of dust and dirt, and there is mold growing on the beams from damp, outside air coming in.
Nathan Z and his team installed a CleanSpace liner for the crawlspace. This will prevent water vapor from getting in, keeping the air dry. A TripleSafe pump was also installed to pump out unwanted water.
The before image shows what the crawlspace looked like before being worked on, and the after photo shows the crawlspace with the CleanSpace liner and the sump pump installed.
Erin can now rest assured that her crawlspace will stay clean and dry!
This moldy, dirty crawlspace was installed with CleanSpace to reduce mold spores and allergens in the home, and not to mention assist in temperature control. This Town and Country, MO crawlspace, is not only reduced of health threats, but has a cleaner look and will also help with storage space.
Judy P. of Westwood, Missouri discovered water was collecting in her home's crawl space every time it stormed. She knew standing water could cause mold growth and rotting, so she called Woods Basement Systems.
Design specialist John S. assessed the situation and decided the best option was to install a CleanSpace encapsulation system, a SmartPipe drainage system, a SmartSump sump pump, and a Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier. Foreman Brett J. then head to the home to get the job started.
The CleanSpace encapsulation system, pictured above, is a durable liner that was placed on the floor and up the walls of the crawl space. It acts as a vapor barrier and drains leaks that may occur behind it.
Judy P. no longer has to worry about her home's crawl space flooding after big storms. Her home now has a waterproof and dry crawl space.
