A basement wall in Lake Saint Louis, MO, was bowing and humid. This needed to be addressed before the problem gets worse, so the homeowner decided to give Woods a call. To solve the issue of humidity, CleanSpace™ was used to encapsulate the basement walls. This highly durable liner will keep the humidity, and other outside elements, out of the basement. Next, GeoLock™ wall anchors were used to stabilize the bowing walls. This system works with heavy duty steel anchors that are buried some ways away from the home and connected to the home using steel rods. These rods are then attached to steel wall plates that are placed directly on the wall. As the rods are tightened, they pull the wall back into place. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their basement wall is dry and stable.
This crawlspace in Irondale, MO had rotting wood, causing the floor above it to be unleveled. By installing a SmartJack™ 350 and a supplemental beam, the wall anchors keep the wood up and the floor above leveled. Without them, the floor would potentially collapse and cause damage to the homeowner and to the home's value should she desire to sell the home.
Diane L. was worried about water coming into her basement and ruining her floor and wallpaper. To solve this reoccurring issue, Woods installed WaterGuard in the perimeter of the basement. These pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it towards the sump pump system, which will then pump the water away from the house. Diane can now rest assured knowing that she will have a dry and clean basement for years to come!
A basement in Pacific, Missouri was struggling to stay dry with the existing sump pump. The foam then expands to lift and level the concrete. Next, NexusPro™ was used to fill in the gaps in between the concrete slabs.
