To solve this issue, PolyLevel™ was used. This system works by drilling pea-sized holes into the concrete and injecting a polyurethane foam underneath. The foam then expands, lifting and leveling the concrete. This foam also hardens to become rock solid within hours. As part of the waterproofing system, Woods installed WaterGuard. WaterGuard is a drainage system that is installed on the perimeter of the basement, underneath the concrete floors of the basement which means floors can be finished over the system. It is situated on top of the footing of the basement so it's out of the way of mud that might clog it while it collects water from the foundation walls and wall joints and carries it away to the sump pump for removal.
