To solve this issue, WaterGuard™ was used to collect the water that enters the basement. This system sits horizontally on top of the soil to prevent clogging. Next, a sump pump was installed to discharge the collected water out of the basement. This sump pump has a battery back-up generator to ensure the pump keeps working, even during a power outage. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their basement will remain dry. 

A driveway in Saint Charles, MO, was in need of a strong sealant. The homeowner decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, SealantPro™ was used to seal the concrete. This protective sealant will prevent damage to the driveway and sidewalk and keep it looking nice and fresh. With this system in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their concrete is in great shape!

This system works by drilling pea-sized holes into the concrete and injecting a polyurethane foam underneath. The foam then expands to lift and level the concrete slabs. This system is great for driveways because it cures within hours. Next, NexusPro™ was used to seal the seams and cracks. This flexible sealant will withstand any harsh weather the homeowner may receive. With these systems in place, the homeowner can have peace of mind knowing their driveway is leveled and the cracks have been sealed. 

Saint Charles, Missouri homeowner Tom had worked with Woods Basement Systems before for a sump pump. He gave us a call back when he wanted to extend his waterproofing needs and System Design Specialist Todd developed a plan for him. 

Foreman John and his crew installed the WaterGuard for Tom. The WaterGuard is specially designed to collect water that gets in through gaps in construction. This water comes in through the perimeter of the foundation. This means that water can sit on the drywall in these areas and cause it to mold and rot. 

By doing a half-wall restoration and using EverLast Walls we can make the air healthier by removing the mold and rot. EverLast Walls will not support future mold and rot and are designed to be easy to clean and be resistant to damage. 

Tom can now enjoy his basement knowing it is not only dry but it is also healthier.
