Gutter Shutter Grater Atlanta assisted a local Daycare this month with replacing there old, 5" gutters. The current system didn't address the drainage needs of the property and needed our expert teams knowledge and recommended advise.

These guards will keep debris and wildlife out of the gutters to avoid gutter cleaning for best results. Our customer was in the mood to celebrate the holiday season by having a true professional stream these beautiful lights on their already amazing home. Gutter Shutter of Greater Atlanta made a trip to a remote area in Alpharetta to put up this sparkling assortment of white lights. 

We decorated the entire front of this 2-story home and the main sections of the 3-car garage. We finished the job by wrapping the trees that faced the main road. Even though we specialize in Gutter Guard and Gutter Shutter installations, we found that adding Holiday Lighting to our services ties the seasonal knot with our existing and new customers. 

In Alpharetta, GA, a homeowner had a problem area with their gutter system. Needing a professional evaluation to determine what to do for their concerns in that area. The gutter and downspout that was the main concern was due to storm damage. The homeowner wanted to draw water away from the home where it was pooling, as they were concerned about the integrity of their basement. With water frequently pooling after rains, they knew they needed a professional gutter company who could address all of their concerns. Bud had reached his breaking point with the way rainwater was behaving around his home in Cumming, GA. Every storm sent water rushing out of an above-ground downspout and straight into his landscaping, slowly washing it away and leaving behind puddles that demanded constant attention. Looking for a permanent fix, Bud called Gutter Shutter of Greater Atlanta, and Ariel came out to assess the situation firsthand.

After evaluating the existing setup, the solution was clear: the downspout needed to be extended and redirected underground to properly move water away from the home. The Gutter Shutter team got to work, digging a long trench from the left rear corner of the house to house the new drainage system. As part of the upgrade, they also replaced a section of gutter with a sturdy 6" K-style gutter in musket brown, improving both flow capacity and curb appeal.

The project included installing a wide-mouth outlet, a musket brown 3x4 downspout, and 4" PVC underground lawn extensions, along with removing and disposing of 25 linear feet of old gutter. Once completed, rainwater finally had a clear, efficient path away from Bud’s home. The erosion stopped, the pooling disappeared, and Bud could finally enjoy his yard again, rain or shine.
