This roof had water damage and general wear and tear from old age, there was even moss and algae growing on the roof. We also took care of the rotting roof on their garage. After we got the shingles up we saw that the original roof had used a wood shake decking layer. Since that style is outdated we ripped it up and replaced it with a stronger plywood decking layer. The customer wanted to go with our IKO Dynasty Shadow Brown Shingles which perfectly complemented the rest of the house, and to ensure that their roof wouldn't leak again we layered Ice and water along with an underlayment. The customer was extremely happy with their roof which is guaranteed for the next 50 years.

For this job the Brown Roofing team tackled this color faded and water damaged roof. The moss and algae on this roof stripped away the UV protective layer which caused the shingles to lose their color and age faster. The original roof used a wood shake decking layer which is an outdated style so we ripped it up and installed our stronger plywood decking layer. By the end of the day the customer had a brand new roof they loved and one that is guaranteed for the next 50 years.
