We installed SealoronXT Deck Tape to create a watertight barrier, followed by VeloraOne Roof Underlayment for extra protection against moisture. For the finishing touch, we used durable IKO Dynasty shingles, known for their strength and heavy duty. Paul’s home in Colchester, CT, had a roof dating back to 1993, and a leak around the chimney made getting a replacement urgent. Initially looking for a quick fix, Paul decided that a full roof replacement along with new gutters and trim was the best long-term solution. At this 1990s home located in Somers, CT we completely stripped off the existing roof and replaced it with a new roofing system. We first tore off the existing shingles and roofing material and hauled them to the Asphalt Roof Recycling Center to be turned into asphalt pavement for roads.

We then replaced any damaged plywood decking and laid down Ice & Water Shield to create a moisture barrier between the decking and the shingles. For even more protection,  we installed a synthetic underlayment, a durable, tear-resistant material that is engineered to repel water and adhere to the roofing surface. To top it off, we replaced the old chimney flashing with new lead flashing and installed a VentSure Ridge Vent to provide consistent attic ventilation to the home. 

At this large colonial home located in Somers, CT, we completely stripped and installed a brand new roofing system. Th shingles are Duration shingles in the color Brownwood. We removed and replaced the flashing around the chimney with new lead flashing. 

This single family home in Coventry, CT was experiencing leaking in their home and sought Klaus Larsen Roofing to fix the problem. We started the process by tearing off one layer of existing roofing materials and replaced 20 layers of damaged plywood decking. We then installed 3 rows of Ice & Water Barrier near all eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. In terms of shingles, we installed a stunning gray to compliment the color of the home. We finished the job by removing and installing brand new cedar rake boards. This home is now safe and secure, thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
