Sandra and Matthew in Middletown, CT, reached out to us after noticing water coming in during the last few heavy rainstorms. Their roof had started to fail in a few key areas, and they wanted a long-term fix instead of chasing more small repairs. After inspecting the home, we recommended a full roof replacement so the house would stay protected through future storms. Our crew removed the old roofing, checked the decking, and prepared the surface with SealoronXT Ice & Water, VeloraONE Underlayment, and SealoronXT Deck Tape to keep moisture out. Once everything was sealed and secure, we installed IKO Dynasty shingles in the Emerald Green color, giving their home a refreshed look and reliable protection moving forward.

After taring off the dated materials, we had to do some structural repair by replacing the rotted rafter of the dormer with CDX plywood, a durable form of sheathing used specifically for roofing. Klaus Larsen only works with high-quality materials, so that you won't need any subsequent repair work down the road. This project turned out great. A neighbor was so impressed, that we ended up roofing their house right across the street!

Here was a farmhouse from 1855, that had a 20 year old roof on it, which we removed and recycled. We also removed and replaced all flashing on three chimneys with new lead flashing. The asphalt we send off to be recycled is turned into roads that span across Connecticut and Massachusetts.  

There was definite visual and internal deterioration on this 3-Tab roof in East Hartford, CT. This job was pretty straightforward, and began with the removal and recycling of one layer of shingles from both the main house and garage. The chimney flashing was also renewed in addtion to all new vent pipe boots. New decking, vents, and underlayment all work together to give this home a nice, new little roof!

This ranch-style home in East Hartford, CT was built in 1953 and is now in need of a roof replacement. Klaus Larsen Roofing started by tearing off two layers of existing roofing materials and replacing all damaged plywood decking. We then installed three rows of G Ice & Water Barrier near all eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. In terms of shingles, we installed  the color Onyx Black. Lastly, we removed and replaced flashing on the chimney with brand new lead flashing. This amazing home now looks even better thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
