This single family home in Portland, CT was in need of a new roof. After tearing off one layer of existing roofing material, we replaced 3 sheets of damaged plywood decking. In accordance with the new building codes, we were sure to seal all joints on the roof deck with flashing tape. We then installed two rows of an ice & water barrier near all roof eaves, valleys, chimneys, etc. In terms of shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System with IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Charcoal Grey. We finished the job by installing a brand new Ridge Vent. This ridge vent comes with a Weather Protector moisture barrier and proved top-notch consistent attic ventilation. Here was a colonial style house in South Windsor, CT that was in need of a total roof replacement. The SureNail strip on these shingles is a patented technology, and gives the roof unrivaled longevity in comparison to other brands. The ventilation system here was in good shape and was working properly, so we only needed to make some slight alterations at the dormer ridge vent near the garage.

At this a 1999 colonial style home located in South Windsor, CT we completed a full roof replacement. We started by stripping the entire existing roof and replaced any damaged plywood decking with new plywood. Next, we protected the home from any outside moisture. We also installed ProArmor Synthetic Underlayment which is a durable tear-resistant material engineered to repel water and to adhere to the roofing surface. To top it off we installed a new Velux Skylight with "Clean, Safe, Quiet" glass.
