A home in Pine Bush, New York was due for a new roof since the roof was roughly 18 years old and had started causing the homeowners some issues!

Claire in Pine Bush, NY reached out to Klaus Larsen Roofing for a full roof replacement and new gutters. The crew got to work removing the old roofing materials, where any damaged plywood was replaced before we installed our full roofing system. This included SealoronXT Deck Tape, SealoronXT Ice & Water Shield around vulnerable areas, and VeloraOne Roof Underlayment across the rest of the decking for complete protection.

To finish the job, we installed bold Monaco Red IKO Dynasty shingles with a black drip edge and brown rake edge, giving her home a strong and stylish new look. This homeowner reached out to us to replace their roof on their cabin in West Shokan, NY. Their asphalt Roof has been patched 7-8 yrs ago. They also had 3 skylights that had small leaks. To protect the home and prevent leaks in the future, we first replaced any damaged plywood decking and laid down our Klaus Larsen Roofing SealoronXT Ice & Water self-sealing membrane to create a moisture barrier between the decking and the shingles. For even more protection, we installed our own Velora One Underlayment, a high performance synthetic underlayment designed to protect the home in even the most severe weather. We also took the extra step to protect the home by taping the the plywood steams with our all-weather SealoronXT Deck Tape—it's the Klaus Roofing Way! To top it off, for new asphalt shingles, we installed IKO Dynasty Architectural Shingles featuring a 1-1/4" nailing area made with a tough reinforcing woven band for incredible nail-holding power to protect the home against Mother Nature's fury. The homeowner chose the shingle color Emerald Green for their new roof.

We also replaced all 3 skylights with a brand new Velux skylights with Laminated, Low-E, "Clean, Safe, Quiet" glass with Velux factory flashing kit. It's ideal to install brand new skylights at the same time as a new roof install as it's very difficult to re-flash an existing skylight.
