Roof Replacement in New London, CT

Ambar reached out to Klaus Larsen Roofing, uncertain of their roof’s exact age but ready to explore replacement options for peace of mind. A trusted sales inspector met with Ambar to discuss the vital role of a safe, durable roof and walked through the various options available. Excited to move forward, Ambar scheduled their installation date, and our crew got to work.

The process began with a complete removal of the old shingles, taking everything down to the plywood boards. This approach allows us to inspect and replace any damaged or rotting plywood, ensuring a sturdy foundation. Next, we applied the SealoronXT Ice & Water membrane along with the VeloraOne Roof Underlayment. Together with our SealoronXT Deck Tape, this system fully waterproofs the plywood, preventing any water infiltration—an essential step for long-lasting protection.

Finally, we installed the IKO Dynasty shingles, which offer an impressive 130 MPH wind resistance. Now, Ambar’s home is well-prepared to withstand even the harshest New England storms without worry. The transformation is striking—the fresh new roof looks incredible, and Ambar couldn’t be happier with the results.

That’s the Klaus Roofing Way!
