If the salesman had assessed the property properly, and given the higher estimate to begin with, you would have a 5. But the extended work time, as well as the unexpected noise of days of jackhammering caused such a negative impact on the people in the house, that I cannot rate you above a 3.
Your telephone people are excellent, and they return your calls as well as pass on any messages left. They also answer questions when able to, and connect you to people who can if they are not able to answer.
The salesman was kind and courteous. He said the egress window was a proprietary item, but in fact is just an American casement window. He did not check the foundation to see if it was a standard foundation and he did not probe the soil. This resulted in a low-ball estimate that had to be adjusted for more necessary work. We have a double foundation and the soil is clay. These 2 aspects of the property were unknown to us, but could have been discovered had the salesman done some basic work to properly assess the property for an estimate. Instead of 2 days of work, it was 2 weeks and lots more money. These are unpleasant surprises that an expert in the field knows how to avoid. When I hire an expert, I expect expertise. You did not get a "1' here only because the sales rep was so nice.
The crew pays attention to detail, kind, courteous, considerate of the property. They always wiped their feet when entering the home and they stayed on the floor mats that we laid out for the traffic area.
They cleaned up nicely, leaving the worksite groomed and ready for grass.
